Warranty
Last updated: July 7, 2026
At Maverick, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of every device we build. Every Maverick product is covered by a two (2) year limited hardware warranty from the date of original purchase. This warranty protects you against manufacturing defects and hardware failures under normal use, so you can have confidence that your on-device AI experience will remain reliable for years to come. Please review the details below to understand what is covered, what is not, and how to make a warranty claim if needed.
What's Covered
This limited hardware warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that occur under normal use during the warranty period. The following hardware components and issues are covered:
- Manufacturing defects: Any flaw in the assembly, soldering, or construction of the device that was present at the time of manufacture and causes the device to malfunction.
- Hardware failures: Failures of internal components including the motherboard, power supply unit, cooling system, and internal cabling that occur under normal operating conditions.
- SoC (System on Chip) defects: Defects in the custom-designed Maverick processor, neural engine, or integrated GPU that result in computational errors, crashes, or failure to perform as specified.
- SSD (Solid State Drive) failure: Failure of the onboard storage drive that results in data loss, inability to boot, or storage errors that are not caused by unauthorized modifications or excessive write cycles beyond rated specifications.
- Display issues: Defects in the built-in multi-touch display on Maverick Studio and Pro models, including dead pixels, touch unresponsiveness, backlight bleeding beyond acceptable thresholds, and display panel failure.
- Connectivity module failure: Failures of the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, or other wireless communication modules that prevent the device from connecting to networks or peripherals as intended.
What's Not Covered
This warranty does not cover damage or issues caused by circumstances outside of Maverick's control. The following are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage:
- Physical damage: Damage caused by drops, impacts, crushing, bending, or any other form of physical force applied to the device, including damage to the chassis, display, or internal components.
- Water or liquid damage: Damage caused by exposure to water, liquids, moisture, or humidity beyond the device's rated environmental specifications.
- Unauthorized modifications: Issues caused by opening the device casing, replacing components with non-Maverick parts, modifying the hardware in any way, or installing unverified firmware that has not been approved by Maverick.
- Normal wear and tear: Cosmetic wear such as minor scratches, scuffs, or fading of exterior surfaces that occur through regular use over time and do not affect the functionality of the device.
- Cosmetic damage: Any aesthetic imperfections that do not impact the performance or functionality of the device, including minor variations in finish, color, or texture.
- Software issues: Problems caused by third-party software, corrupted model files, operating system issues that can be resolved through a factory reset or software update, or any software-related malfunction that is not the direct result of a hardware defect.
How to Make a Warranty Claim

- Ship the Device: If the issue is confirmed to be a warranty-covered hardware defect, we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label and instructions for packaging and sending your device to our repair center.
- Resolution: Once we receive and inspect your device, we will proceed with the appropriate resolution as described below.
Repair or Replacement Policy
When a valid warranty claim is confirmed, Maverick will, at its sole discretion, either repair the defective device using genuine Maverick parts or replace it with a new or refurbished device of the same or equivalent model. Repairs typically take five (5) to ten (10) business days from the time we receive your device, depending on the nature of the repair and parts availability. If a replacement is issued, the replacement device will carry the remainder of the original warranty period or ninety (90) days, whichever is longer. All repaired or replaced devices are thoroughly tested before being shipped back to you.
Warranty Transfer
This limited hardware warranty is transferable to a new owner if you sell or gift your Maverick device during the warranty period. The warranty will remain in effect for the remainder of the original two-year term from the date of the original purchase. To transfer the warranty, the new owner should contact our support team with the device serial number and proof of the transfer of ownership. The original proof of purchase from the initial buyer is required to validate the warranty period. Please note that the warranty is non-transferable to refurbished or re-sold devices by unauthorized third-party resellers.
Limitations
This limited hardware warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Maverick Inc. and is provided in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Maverick be liable for any incidental, consequential, special, or indirect damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the device, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of use. Maverick's total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the device. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by jurisdiction. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
